Just three days before the end of the 2022 Dakar Rally, all hopes are over for the InstaForex Loprais Team crew in the trucks category. After a jump from a relatively small dune, the Praga V4S DKR had to stop with a steering failure. Luckily, the crew is unhurt.

After the ninth stage of the 2022 Dakar Rally, Ales Loprais in his Praga V4S DKR has managed to increase the gap to Andrey Karginov in Kamaz. He finished three minutes ahead of the Russian and has strengthened his fourth place in the trucks overall standings.

After two-thirds of the 2022 Dakar Rally, Ales Loprais, Jaroslav Valtr jr. and Petr Pokora with their Praga V4S DKR truck hold fourth position in the provisional standings, behind three trucks of Kamaz factory team. After the eighth stage of the rally, they now also have to watch out for Andrey Karginov with the other truck from Naberezhnye Chelny.

After the seventh stage of the 2022 Dakar Rally, Ales Loprais and his crew have moved up to fourth place in the overall standings. On Sunday, the Praga V4S DKR of the Instaforex Loprais Praga Team kept up with the overall leaders throughout the whole stage.

In the sixth stage of the 2022 Dakar Rally, Ales Loprais and his crew finished in fourth place. Just before a scheduled rest day, they have managed to reduce the gap to their competitors ahead by several minutes. Including those on the podium positions.

The 2022 Dakar Rally continued with a challenging fifth stage, as all competitors and their vehicles had a rough day. However, the Instaforex Loprais Praga Team handled the difficult stage without a hiccup and the crew remains in fifth place in the trucks overall standings.

The fourth stage of this year's Dakar Rally turned out to be extremely dramatic for the Instaforex Loprais Team. After a collision with one of the buggies, in which the crew was innocent, the Praga V4S DKR #508 truck had to tackle most of the longest stage of the event without shock absorbers on the right rear wheel. Yet, Ales Loprais, Jaroslav Valtr jr. and Petr Pokora managed to defend their fifth place in the trucks overall standings.

After the first quarter of the 2022 Dakar Rally, Ales Loprais and his crew sit in fifth place in the truck overall standings. The Praga #508 crew managed to hold its position, right behind four factory Kamaz trucks, despite a puncture, that cost the team some valuable minutes at the end of Tuesday's special.

Ales Loprais and his crew finished the second stage of the 2022 Dakar Rally in fifth place. The Praga V4S DKR truck of InstaForex Loprais Team is now holding fifth place in the trucks overall standings as well.

After the first leg of the 2022 Dakar Rally, only the InstaForex LopraisTeam with its Praga V4S DKR truck managed to split four factory Kamaz vehicles. Ales Loprais finished in third place, despite facing issues throughout the whole second half of the special stage with a partial brake failure.
