The Edox Chronodakar Limited Edition 2015, from boutique Swiss watchmaker Edox, delivers competitors and fans alike the perfect Dakar timing companion. Powered by a superbly accurate Swiss quartz chronograph movement, the Edox Chronodakar (limited to 1000 models worldwide) is the official watch of Dakar 2015.

The titanium construction means the 45 mm watch is ultra-light but ultra-strong and its clean, fluid design makes it the perfect sport or dress watch. Big start/stop buttons on the left-hand size of the case enable easy access to the chronograph functions, even when the watch is worn over driving gloves.

Water resistant to 100m, the Edox Chronodakar proudly displays its motor sport DNA via the "spoked wheel and tyre" design on the caseback.

The tyre tread-style rubber strap ensures a perfect fit on the wrist, whether the watch is being worn blasting through the Atacama Desert, in a boardroom meeting, or on a relaxing night out.

The Dakar Rally 2015 begins in Buenos Aires on January 3, 2015. Founded in 1979 by Frenchman Thierry Sabine, the rally (originally held in Africa) is now the undisputed pinnacle of rallying.
