Dakar 2017: Press conference in Prague

InstaForex pilot Ales Loprais presented his crew and the new race truck Tatra Phoenix for the Rally Dakar 2017. The biggest rally on earth starts on January 2 in Asuncion and finishes on January 14 in Buenos Aires.

We did beautiful test session during last few months and especially we focused on stability and shock absorber settings. We also completely changed the engine map after the test in Slovakia and put a new "racing heart" with a different turbocharger.

The Phoenix now accelerates much better than before. In Bolivia we will be facing high latitude about 3,500 meters which will be difficult for the engines and also for the race and service crews.

Dakar is always tough but thanks to the extreme situation we are getting stronger.

"Our goal is to get into the finish in the fastest possible time", said Ales Loprais during his press conference in Park Hotel Prague.
